Farm To Table Nutrition Series
Join us at Dancing Bear Farm for a Saturday of picking, prepping & eating fresh produce straight from the garden- led by Emily McNamara, a local Functional Nutritional Therapist and whole food advocate! Prepare to have tastebuds tickled with a variety of new recipes, stories, and information about locally grown herbs, vegetables & fruits to take home at the end of each session, along with a prepared dish to enjoy alongside their packed lunch.
This program will be offered as a 5 part drop-off series running on Saturdays July 11th-September 5th. Open for ages 5-12. Keep in mind programming themes may shift according to the season’s abundance!
Each three-hour nutrition session is $55, sign up for the 5-part series for $300 ($50/session)
We will require a minimum of 7 participants to run each session
Who’s Emily?
As a mother of two Emily has a passion for food, farming & nutrition. She attended the University of New Hampshire for Business Management with a dual major in EcoGastronomy- the study of food from field to fork. Over the past 13 years she has worked in a variety of different farm and educational settings, primarily at Edgewater Farm in Plainfield, NH, and currently is employed as a Nutritional Therapist at Gentle Landing Birth Center. Her work with mothers (and her own kids) has shed light on how delicious, nutritious and important eating local, whole foods is!
